  • POW/MIA Flag bill (Local Law 32/2003)
  • Allocation $1.6 million to create New Dorp Beach Park

  • Successfully prompted Parks Department to treat algae infested Cameron Lake
  • Successfully requested that Parks place asphalt in the parking lot adjacent to the Our Lady of Lourdes Church
  • Called for Parks Department to allow waterfront access and for continuation of Bike Path at New Dorp Beach
  • Successfully requested Parks to install additional signage at South Beach parking Lot and to lock the gate at closure
  • Successfully prompted Parks Department to install Green streets project at Old Town Road and North Railroad
