- Fought and was eventually successful in getting traffic light for PS26;
- Added community to Borough President’s downzoning applications;
- Prompted DEP to initiate sanitary and storm sewer project in Travis. (Survey work and drainage plan are done, currently working on damage and acquisition maps);
- Currently fighting creation of Victory Estates development ;
- Worked with DOS to resolve odor problem emanating from Composting Facility;
- Widening of intersection and installation of turning bays at Victory Boulevard and Travis Avenue;
- Installation of turning arrow on Travis Avenue turning onto Victory Boulevard;
- Introduced legislation for commemorative street name change for Victory Boulevard to Independence Way;
- Annual Graffiti Clean-ups and pothole repairs in anticipation of Fourth of July Parade;
- Held hearing on Fresh Kills Transfer Station to ensure that DOS went on record with a plan to minimize truck traffic on Victory Boulevard while entering and exiting the facility;
- Strip paving of Travis Avenue;
- Resurfacing of Latimer Avenue, off Shenandoah Avenue;
- Prompted DOT to install Left Turning Arrow at South Avenue and Travis Avenue
- South Avenue repaving;
- Funded New Addition to PS 26;
- New Sidewalks for St. Anthony’s Church;
- Funded $125,000 for new greenhouse at Native Plant Center;
- Funded $350,000 for Latimer Avenue Pumping Station;
- Funded $39,000 for Travis Fourth of July Parade;
- Funded for $40,000 Oceanic Hook and Ladder Company;
- Funded $40,500 for Mid-Island Little League;
